My name is Maria Owen and I’m an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Scientific and Technical Communication. I’m committed to excellence in my work and I value all kinds of writing. I’m passionate about always improving as a writer and I love to gain new knowledge about anything and everything. My love of science, biology, and medicine has led me to select Biological and Health Sciences as my major’s sub-focus. Before learning about the major of Scientific and Technical Communication, I studied Biomedical Engineering and Neuroscience, so I have a very strong scientific background in addition to my writing skills.
